What is tax evasion?
Tax evasion occurs when you have not declared your full taxable income for more than one year.
Be wary of any so-called tax professional who advises that you are not evading taxes under these circumstances. You are the one who will face the consequences! While the tax authorities have not yet notified you, they will catch up to you soon. It's only a matter of time. As technology (such as decryption of data) becomes more enabling and the sharing of information more commonplace, the faster it will be.

You may not be fully aware of it now, but you should know what income should be declared.
For example, some clients are shocked to learn that pension income they have been receiving from the U.K. is taxable in Canada. Let us review your tax situation and advise the best possible solution to resolve your tax problem.
